Le nouveau conseiller fédéral UDC s'appelle Guy Parmelin

Le canton de Vaud retrouve un conseiller fédéral. 17 ans après Jean-Pascal Delamuraz, l'UDC Guy Parmelin va rejoindre le collège gouvernemental dès le 1er janvier. Maître-viticulteur de profession, Guy Parmelin, 56 ans, siège au Conseil national depuis 2003. Il lui aura fallu trois tours pour s'imposer face au Zougois Thomas Aeschi, scrutin au terme duquel Guy Parmelin a obtenu 138 voix.
